Jones County Sheriff's Office (Transport/Patrol Deputy Position)

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Patrol Deputy. 

Duties: Be able to independently handle calls for service, conduct investigations to completion and transport prisoners along with any other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must reside within Jones County
  • 2 years' experience as a licensed peace officer with excellent references.
  • Basic Peace Officer License in good standing with TCOLE.
  • Valid Texas Driver License with excellent driving history.
